At the close of this year it’s important to remember that along with the challenging times there have been so many remarkably positive moments as well.
ICU Nurse Kathryna Ta-asan said it beautifully, “I have seen so much compassion from everyone.” From the outpouring of gifts to the donated lunches and personal protective equipment, these gestures show the compassion of our community.
As we work together to keep one another safe there is one more thing you can do with just a few days left in the year — make a generous year-end gift to UW Medicine.
Our year was in many ways defined by the pandemic and our mission to create a healthier community has been put to the test as we quickly worked to gather information and build safety plans for patients and staff.
While that work continues, it is critical to have your support. We have an opportunity to construct a healthier 2021 when we work together, it is the support of donors that make this essential care possible.
